Product Overview Our production efforts are focused on three distinct groups of plant materials.
- Our line of Miniature Fruit Trees pays homage to the "Food As Art" movement.
- A larger scale product with culinary applications, our Patio Trees, offer a variety of Fruit bearing selections
- Our Flowering Gift Plants tap into our desire for more novelty with an eye on mass appeal.
Food As Art Our line of Miniature Trees are planted in
ceramic bonsai containers. Measuring 4"x6"x2 1/2", the cachepots are available in a variety of colors. These Fruit Trees offer the customer a different feature throughout the year. With the onset of spring,
flower blossoms and fragrance will grace the delicate branches. Summer will bear witness to the harvest of small fruit. Autumn will deliver the artists palette of colors to changing foliage. Winters gray is
reflected in the stark silhouette. We are reminded of our agrarian history through the passing of the seasons.All of these fruited selections feature fruit that is also reduced in size so that a true- to-
scale presentation is created. The trees are newly re- discovered selections of their more familiar cousins that feature miniature fruit: These include: Almond, Apricot, Cherry, Crabapple, Pear,
Orange, Lemon, Lime, Blueberry, Pomegranate, and Winegrapes. When in fruit, these trees are an exact miniature representation of their larger counterparts. Each of the varieties selected are distinctive in
their own right. The year begins with Almonds blooming in the dead of winter enabling us to imagine the beginning of spring. It ends with Christmas Seasons Citrus, Winegrapes and Camellias stealing the show.
